WFDD Town Hall for Teens

On November 22nd, 2019, WFDD and the Radio 101 program hosted a Town Hall for Teens on School Violence at Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The students shared the stories they reported on school shootings, in-school suspensions, sexual misconduct at school, and racial disparities. Then the audience joined the discussion and shared their stories. This was an important engagement of citizens from various view points and experiences and the energy was palpable.
